TTArtisan AF 35mm 1.8 II
Earlier this Year (2026) TTArtisan reached out to me asking if I wanted to try their new 35mm 1.8 lens. I had never used a TTArtisan lens before so I was excited to try it. I received the limited edition orange lens for X mount, the unboxing experience was very nice, it had this premium feel to it and felt very nice in hand. Actually I got quite a few compliments from people as I was rocking a bright orange lens on my camera. I paired the lens with the X-pro 2 which is a slower camera itself and found no issues with the autofocus but I am quite a slow paced shooter anyway.
It’s a brilliant budget friendly lens with a metal build. Designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras with a 52mm full frame equivalent. It is very lightweight and compact and wide open at 1.8 it produces pleasing and smooth bokeh.
It has a USB-C port on the rear for updates.
Overall it was a really enjoyable introduction to TTArtisan lenses.
